HI! I moved to New Bern in August of 2008 and I am very excited about beginning my second year at A.H. Bangert Elementary.This will
be my sixth year teaching.I graduated from UNCW in 2004 with a B.A. in Elementary Education. I graduated in
December 2008 with a MAed. in Elementary Education. I also obtained my certificate to teach academically gifted
students while completing graduate school at UNCW. I obtained my National Board Certification in November of 2008! I
spent the first four years of my teaching career teaching fifth grade at Wallace Elementary in Duplin County. I miss my students
and colleagues in Wallace very much but I am happy to be here in New Bern at Bangert.
